Join Oilfield Helping Hands for the 7th Annual Houston Summer Fun Pistol Shoot, a day of friendly competition, networking, and camaraderie benefiting the Houston oilfield community. The event brings together industry professionals for an exciting shooting competition while supporting oilfield families facing financial hardship due to illness, injury, or unexpected crisis.

Whether you’re competing with your team, entertaining clients, or supporting a meaningful cause, participants can enjoy a day of shooting, networking, food, prizes, and giving back to the oilfield community.

Safety Requirements

Safety is the highest priority for all participants, volunteers, range personnel, and guests. All attendees must follow the event’s firearm safety requirements and attend the mandatory safety briefing before the competition begins.

  • Firearms must remain unloaded, secured in a pistol bag or case, and may only be handled under the direction of a range officer.
  • No firearms may be carried on the range property except as permitted under event safety procedures.
  • Only approved firearms and ammunition meeting event requirements may be used.
  • Firearms may only be loaded on the firing line when instructed by the range officer.
  • All participants must submit signed waivers before competing.
  • Any violation of event safety rules, including accidental firearm discharge, will result in immediate disqualification.

Every participant shares responsibility for maintaining a safe environment. Please report any unsafe behavior or concerns to the range officers or event committee immediately.
