About the Event

The Houston Association of Professional Landmen will celebrate its 70th Annual Executive Night with an evening of industry conversation, professional networking, and recognition of outstanding achievements in the land profession.

The program will feature a keynote conversation with Ken Waits, President and CEO of Mewbourne Oil Company, moderated by Kyle B. Reynolds, JD, CPL, Immediate Past President of the American Association of Professional Landmen. Attendees will hear perspectives on the current energy landscape and what lies ahead for the industry.

The evening will also honor HAPL’s 2026 Company of the Year and Landman of the Year, recognizing two distinguished contributions to the profession.
