The Permian Basin Chapter of the API is chartered to provide scholarships to deserving students from the Permian Basin. This year, the organization is committed to awarding up to thirty-six scholarships, which will be funded at up to $4,000 per year. The API “SOUR CRUDE OPEN” is the largest scholarship golf tournament in the Permian Basin with a traditional sellout of over 520 participants. We will have a best-dressed team award this year! This year’s tournament will be May 5 & 6, 2023 at Hogan Park Golf Course.

Change for this year – all of your game hole expenses have been folded into the golf team entry fee.

Premium sponsorship opportunities include:

Signage Sponsor – $10,000 – Your organization will provide all signage for the tournament. Your name will be on every sign presented at the tourney. Sold -Superod

Hat Sponsor – $10,000 – Your organization’s logo will be embroidered on the side of the API hat to be given away to each participant. This sponsorship includes two team entries and an individual banner in the pavilion area, two tee box signs, company name on the platinum banner, and recognition at the event. Sold – Tellus

Towel Sponsor – $10,000 – Your organization’s logo will be embroidered on a premium golf towel to be given to each participant. Driving Range – $4,000 – This sponsorship includes a banner on the practice tee announcing your company’s sponsorship, recognition at the event, and usage of the practice tee for showcasing your company. Sold – KTX Electric

Golf Carts – Outside Cart Sponsorship – $4,000 – Your organization’s logo will be attached to the front of all golf carts used in the tournament. You will receive one team entry with this sponsorship. Sold – Expanse Electrical Co. and Basin Pump Down

Golf Carts – Inside Cart Sponsorship – $4,000 – Your organization’s logo will be attached to the cart player card on inside of all golf carts used in the tournament. You will receive one team entry with this sponsorship. Sold – Big D Companies

Golf Carts – Back of Cart Sponsorship – $4,000 – Your organization’s logo will be attached to the cart player card on the back of all golf carts used in the tournament. You will receive one team with this sponsorship. Sold – ACS Pump and Supply

Photography Sponsorship – $4,000 – This sponsorship includes a team entry, an individual company banner in the pavilion area, two tee box signs, company name on the platinum banner, and recognition at the event. Your company logo will be on the team photos and the photo booth. Sold – Applied US Energy

Platinum Sponsor – $4,000 – This sponsorship includes a team entry, an individual company banner in the pavilion area, two tee box signs, company name on the platinum banner, and recognition at the event.

Gun board Sponsorship – $2,500 – This sponsorship includes an individual company banner in the pavilion area, two tee box signs, company name on the platinum banner, and recognition at the event. OPEN

Gold Sponsor – $2000 – This sponsorship includes two tee box signs, company name on the gold banner, and recognition at the event.

Best Dressed Team Contest – $1500 – This BRAND NEW sponsorship (inspired by Keith Stelter of 413 Mechanical) includes an individual company banner in the pavilion area, two tee box signs, company name on the tee box banner, and recognition at the event. You or your company representative will be photographed with the winning team at the golf tournament, and you or your company and the winners will receive those photos. Winners will also receive a gift certificate. OPEN

Tee Box – $1000 – This sponsorship includes a single tee box sign on each course.

Ditty Bag Items – We will take ditty bag item donations, must be at least at 550 in quantity. Items must be approved prior to tourney.

Please do not limit your participation to just these opportunities. The committee welcomes suggestions for sponsorship if you have a unique idea for showcasing your company while contributing to the scholarship fund.

API Permian must receive your entry with payment or payment information before the tournament start to secure your spot in the tournament. Do not delay in completing and paying for your entry even if you do not have all the players on your team yet fully committed.

Remember, no phone-in entries will be accepted! This is a first-come, first-served event.
