About the Event

Join industry professionals for the Leaders in Industry Luncheon featuring Scott Sheffield, former CEO of Pioneer Natural Resources and a representative of Petrie Partners, for a fireside chat on the energy industry.

With more than 40 years of experience in the energy sector, Sheffield is recognized for his leadership in oil and natural gas exploration and production. He previously served as president and CEO of Pioneer Natural Resources, which became one of Texas’s largest crude oil producers, and as a director of The Williams Companies, a major natural gas infrastructure provider.

Sheffield played influential roles in the American shale revolution and efforts to lift the U.S. crude oil export ban. Earlier in his career, he led Parker & Parsley Petroleum Co. in Midland, Texas. Under his leadership, Parker & Parsley merged with MESA, Inc. in 1997 to form Pioneer Natural Resources.
