25th Annual API Houston Three Gun Challenge
Fundraiser to benefit API Houston Scholarship Endowments to benefit the next generation of the Oil & Gas Industry

Friday, February 20th, 2026 at The Ranch Tx in Eagle Lake, Texas

The goal of the API event is to provide a safe and fun shooting challenge with stages for pistol, rifle and shotgun. Scoring is based on time and accuracy using paper targets and reactive steel. This is a team event with 5 shooters per team whose aggregate score determines HOA Team as well as a HOA individual winner.

This is one of several events API will hold in 2026 to generate funds for endowed scholarship funds at several Texas based universities. All net proceeds generated from the tournament will go directly to the universities/schools that receive API support.

COOKING AND STATION SPONSORSHIP Available
The time and place for the 24th Annual 3Gun Challenge is set.
The event will be at The Ranch TX in Eagle Lake, Texas. The 3Gun Committee is looking for Cooking Sponsors and Station Sponsors. There is no fee, we just need you to provide food or drinks. Our event typically sells out and will have approximately 130 hungry and thirsty participants.
Station Sponsors are needed from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cooking Sponsors are needed at lunchtime from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
