Event Overview

The biggest oilfield golf tournament of the year returns on April 6 at The Clubs of Kingwood. Join the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section (SPE-GCS) Golf Committee for a full day of golf, networking, and fun while supporting the SPE Gulf Coast Scholarship Fund.

This annual tournament brings together energy industry professionals, partners, and friends for one of the most anticipated events of the year. Participants can enjoy great golf, food, drinks, cigars, prizes, and a lively happy hour — all while supporting a meaningful cause.

Petroleum Engineering Scholarship Fundraiser

The SPE Gulf Coast Scholarship Fund helps attract talented students to the energy industry by providing scholarships to promising high school graduates pursuing petroleum engineering and related energy fields.

Each year, the program awards 8–10 new scholarships valued at $4,000 per year for four years — totaling $16,000 per student. These scholarships help support the education of future industry leaders and ensure the continued growth and innovation of the energy sector.

All proceeds from the tournament directly benefit students in the Gulf Coast region as they begin their college journey and pursue careers in the oil and gas industry.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be completed in full to guarantee attendance. Individuals with incomplete or unpaid registrations will be considered walk-in attendees and admitted only as space permits.

No refunds will be issued if an attendee does not attend the event. Requests for cancellation submitted within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for refunds. Substitutions may be accepted in place of cancellations if they are from the same organization within the same calendar year.
