Event Overview

Join us for lunch, networking, and an inspiring conversation with Whitney Majetich as she shares her journey in the oil and gas industry —
including her recognition on the Forbes 30 Under 30 – Energy (2023) list.

Whitney’s career spans operations management, engineering leadership, and field development across multiple states. She will discuss her path from collegiate athletics to petroleum engineering, the lessons she has learned leading large field operations, and how young professionals can build meaningful and impactful careers in energy.

Whitney Majetich
Operations Engineer, Hilcorp | Forbes 30 Under 30 – Energy (2023)

Whitney earned her degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming, where she was also a member of the women’s volleyball team. She began her career with Nalco Champion in the CAPEX College accelerated training program, supporting Gulf of Mexico operations.

She later transitioned to engineering roles with Mustang Resources and Vaquero Energy in Wyoming, where she served as both Petroleum Engineer and Operations Manager. At Vaquero, she managed Big Horn oil and gas production across three Midwest states, oversaw a major energy efficiency initiative for Rocky Mountain Power in Wyoming, and led safe and economic operations for 25 employees across approximately 250 well locations.

Whitney currently serves as an Operations Engineer with Hilcorp in Houston, continuing to advance operational excellence and field development initiatives.

Attendees are strongly encouraged to register and pay online in advance to ensure efficient check-in. Walk-in registrations will be accepted
on a limited, space-available basis at a higher rate.

Parking Information

Validated parking is available at the 811 Louisiana Garage, located caddy-corner to the building. Validation stickers will be provided at the event.
Nearby surface lots are also available.

Directions

Enter the lobby at 910 Louisiana Street and take the elevator to the 48th floor. Follow signage to the “Houston Club Elevators” to the 49th floor.
The Concierge will direct you to the luncheon space.

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be completed in full to guarantee attendance. Incomplete or unpaid registrations will be treated as walk-ins and admitted only as space permits. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of the event. Substitutions within the same organization during the same calendar year will be honored.
