2024 Oil and Gas Events Houston

Every year the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section (SPE-GCS) holds a banquet to honor SPE-GCS Scholarship recipients, the Young Professionals Group, Legion of Honor, and recipients of the SPE regional and Gulf Coast Section awards.

The 2024 SPE Gulf Coast Section Scholarship and Awards Banquet is honored to have Mr/Ms. as our guest keynote speaker for the night. The celebration will be held August 1st, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:30 pm at Norris Conference at 816 Town and Country Blvd Ste. 210, Houston, TX 77024. The theme of the 2024 banquet is “Oil & Gas: Building a Competitive and Sustainable Future “.

The SPE- GCS awarded over $150,000 scholarships annually. The annual SPE-GCS Awards Banquet recognizes high school seniors, college students, Communities in Schools – Houston, and SPE auxiliary scholarships for the 2024 academic year. This is a great opportunity to welcome outstanding students into the petroleum industry and contribute back to members of the community. In addition, this event also recognizes our Legion of Honor award recipients, SPE Gulf Coast Section award winners, and Gulf Coast North America Region awardees. Members of the Legion of Honor have served SPE for fifty years and will be honored for their long-standing commitment to our professional society. As the SPE-GCS
Awards Banquet honors the accomplishments of our scholarship recipients and the Legion of Honor, the award recipients and their select number of guests are invited to attend the banquet free of charge. Company table sponsorships make this banquet possible.
