The SPE and AADE Appalachian Basin Chapter have joined forces to host the annual Pints & Posters event—an informal yet impactful evening where
industry professionals and students connect over drinks, appetizers, and meaningful conversations.

This unique gathering creates opportunities to network, build mentorship relationships, and celebrate outstanding student achievements within the energy industry.

• Showcase your academic accomplishments through a professional poster presentation featuring your thesis, dissertation, capstone project, or impactful internship experience.
• Engage directly with industry leaders who will evaluate presentations and provide feedback.
• Compete for prestigious awards recognizing exceptional work and innovation.

Student Awards

• Grand Prize: $3,000
• Second Prize: $2,000
• Third Prize: $1,000

Graduate students are strongly encouraged to participate and showcase their research.

Poster Presentation Registration

All students wishing to present a poster must complete an application to secure a presentation slot. Space may be limited, so early registration is encouraged.

Student Attendance

This event is free for all students. However, each student must complete the event registration to ensure an accurate headcount.
