Our mission is to create an inclusive and engaging environment that promotes the appreciation and enjoyment of gumbo, celebrating the unique intersection of our cultural heritage with the energy industry’s enduring legacy in our community.
In doing so, we aim to foster economic growth and facilitate meaningful networking opportunities while also raising awareness and support for local charitable causes. We endeavor to showcase the diverse flavors, techniques, and creativity of gumbo preparation, highlighting the resilience and innovation present in both our cultural traditions and the energy industry. Our commitment extends to bringing together professional chefs, talented home cooks, local businesses, and community members, providing a platform for commerce, collaboration, and networking. By honoring our shared cultural heritage and recognizing the vital role of the energy industry, we aspire to fortify the Lafayette area’s economy and cultivate lasting connections within the community.
