About the Event
Join IPAA, the Houston Producers Forum (HPF), and TIPRO for our final joint luncheon of the year, featuring guest speaker Mike Howard, Chairman and CEO of Howard Energy Partners. The event will also include a Washington update from Daniel Naatz, IPAA Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.
Mike Howard founded Howard Energy Partners (HEP) fourteen years ago with a mission to build a values-driven, high-impact energy company that delivers reliable infrastructure while investing in the communities it serves. Under his leadership, HEP has evolved into a diversified, multibillion-dollar midstream enterprise operating across four U.S. states and Mexico.
Believing that access to affordable, reliable energy is key to human progress, Mike has championed projects that expand energy availability and combat energy poverty. Before founding HEP, he served as President of Midstream for a major division of a Fortune 100 energy company and held senior roles in several publicly traded energy firms—helping lead the Shale Revolution and advancing energy access for the U.S. and its allies.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Texas A&M University–Kingsville and serves on the boards of HEP, Atlas Energy Solutions (NYSE: AESI), TXOGA, INGAA, and Jonah Energy LLC. He is also active in numerous philanthropic and educational organizations, including the Texas A&M–Kingsville Foundation, San Antonio Academy, Energy Corps, and Switch Energy Alliance.
