This event is your chance to hear from industry leaders:
- Yogashri Pradhan, MBA, P.E. – Operations Performance Analyst, Chevron
- She was previously a reservoir engineer for Coterra. At Coterra, she is involved with field development planning in the Delaware Basin unconventional reservoirs. Prior to that, she worked as a reservoir engineer at Endeavor energy Resources. At Endeavor, she was involved with field development planning for unconventionals in the Midland Basin. Most recently, she has been honored as a distinguished alumni from the University of Texas Petroleum Engineering Department and Hart Energy’s 40 Under 40. She is the recipient of the Regional Reservoir Engineering Dynamics and Description and the Regional Service Awards in 2020. She’s also the recipient of Houston Engineers Week Young Engineer of the Year representing SPE-Gulf Coast Section for 2018 and the International Young Member Outstanding Service Award from SPE in 2018. Yogashri graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering in 2015 and received her Masters in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University in 2020. She is currently pursuing her MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and New Mexico
- Jose Chavarria, Guerra Staff Sustainable Development Integration Engineer, ConocoPhillips
- Jose joined the Sustainable Development (SD) Strategy & Planning team in Jun 2023 with a focus in SD projects development from concept idea to implementation. Before, he was a senior Production Engineer working in Permian as Technical Advisor with ConocoPhillips and previously with Shell US as Technical Authority. In his 20 years of Oil & Gas industry experience, he has also worked in Hydraulic Fracturing design, Heavy Oil technology pilots and Field Development planning. Jose has a Mechanical Engineering degree with an MBA from University of INCAE in Costa Rica.
- Barry Thomas, Early Career Technical Director, Lower 48, ConocoPhillips
- Barry Thomas is the Lower 48 Technical Director for Early Career Engineers at ConocoPhillips. In his career, Barry has worked as an operations engineer, a drilling engineer and a reservoir engineer for ConocoPhillips, Concho, Anadarko and as a consultant. The oil and gas business has become a family affair. His son, daughter and son-in-law are engineers for U.S. oil and gas operators. Barry has a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He serves as the Chair for the Program Advisory Board for the Petroleum Engineering Department at Colorado School of Mines and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
