About Senator Nibert
With the 2024 New Mexico Legislative Session in the books, former Minority Whip in the New Mexico House and current Senator from District 27, Greg Nibert (R-Roswell) will be PBPA’s guest speaker at our March Membership Luncheon to fill in the PBPA membership on just what happened during this session and what to expect moving forward. Having served in the Legislature since 2017, Senator Nibert is also a partner in the Roswell, New Mexico, office of Hinkle Shanor LLP, and is assigned to the firm’s Oil and Gas Department.

A Native of Roswell, Senator Nibert received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Mexico in 1980 and a Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude, from Pepperdine University in 1983, where he was Editor in Chief of the Pepperdine Law Review for 1982-83. Senator Nibert has been associated with the Hinkle Law Firm since 1983 and has been a partner in the firm since 1988.
