(Drawing for “shooter number” to determine door prize winners as well as any completed “squares” awards is scheduled to follow completion of the round; hopefully within 30 minutes)
This is one of several events API will hold in 2024 to generate funds for endowed scholarship funds at several Texas based universities. All net proceeds generated from the tournament will go directly to the universities/schools that receive API support.
The API event will be a team event with four shooters per team. This is a 100-bird event held on three (3) x ten (10) station courses at American Shooting Center. These three (3) courses will be designed with a similar degree of difficulty.
RULES
1. All shooters must be current API Houston Chapter members and at least eighteen (18)
years of age.
2. NO ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed on the premises.
(BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER EVENT)
3. Guns must be unloaded except in shooter’s box.
4. All actions must be left open unless shooting.
5. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory, including spectators.
6. Score is final when shooter leaves stand.
7. Ties for the Team event will be settled by scorecard shoot-off.
Best team score from a randomly chosen station. A scorecard shoot-off will be held for
ties in the HOA event for each course. HOA will be awarded on each of the courses.
8. Only 2 ¾” shells with a maximum shot size of 7 ½ allowed – YOU WILL PROVIDE
YOUR OWN AMMO.
9. Only four-wheel vehicles with bench style seats will be allowed on the course.
(Golf carts and mule-type units) – YOU CAN RENT CARTS FROM ASC IN ADVANCE

FORMAT FOR 2024 EVENT

1.) High Overall Combined Team Score
2.) High Overall Individual Score
Prizes and Awards will be done immediately after the event.
