The 25th Annual Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section (SPE-GCS) Sporting Clays Tournament & Food Frenzy Cook-Off invites shooters of all skill levels to experience the excitement of this long-standing industry tradition. More than just a competition, this event directly supports SPE student scholarships, helping to develop the next generation of petroleum engineers who will drive the future of oil and gas.

Join fellow industry professionals for a day of sporting clays, great food, and networking, all in a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. 25th SPE Gulf Coast Clay Shoot & Cook-Off: Aiming for Student Success will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at Westside Sporting Grounds!

PARTICIPANT CHECK-IN/BREAKFAST BEGINS AT 8:00 a.m.

Cost

  • $1000 per 4-person team – Includes a 100-round course and ammo with cart
  • $900 per team 4-person – Includes a 100-round course and ammo without cart
  • $300 Solo Shooter – Includes a 100-round course and ammo without cart

Registration Details

  • Ammo is included; however, we understand that some shooters would like to bring their own. If this is you, please bring No. 71/2, 8, 9 shot ONLY.
  • When registering, please include each team member’s e-mail address. This will speed up check-in and allow everyone to receive important event communications, including starting time and station.
  • This event will be held on three courses; event supporters and sponsors will receive first consideration for their preference of course.

Platinum Scholarship Supporter (1) $7500

As a Platinum sponsor, your company will be the event title sponsor.  Your company name/logo will appear on shooter giveaways, event signage, website, and all event social media communication.  Your support also entitles you to 3 complimentary teams, including cart, mulligans, preferred course, and VIP parking $7500 (sponsorship deadline April 15 to accommodate lead times on giveaways).

Gold Scholarship Supporter $5000

As a Gold Sponsor, your company name/logo will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication. Your support also entitles you to 2 complimentary teams, including cart, mulligans, preferred course, and VIP parking.

Silver Scholarship Supporter $2500

As a Silver Sponsor, your company name/logo will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  Your support also entitles you to 1 complimentary team, including cart, mulligans, preferred course, and VIP parking.

Bronze Scholarship Supporter $1500

As a Bronze Sponsor, your company name/logo will appear on event signage, website, and all event social media communication.  Your support also entitles you to 1 complimentary team, including cart and preferred course.

Tournament Photo Sponsor (Limit 1) $2500

As the photo sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  Your logo will also appear on participant commemorative photos given to each shooter.

Trophy Sponsor (Limit 1) $1500

As the trophy sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, website, and all event social media communication (sponsorship deadline April 15 to accommodate lead times).

Commemorative Giveaway (Limit 1) $1800

As the commemorative giveaway sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, website and all event social media communication (sponsorship deadline April 15 to accommodate lead times).  Note: This sponsorship will be unavailable if there is a platinum sponsor.

Golf Cart sponsor (Limit 1) $1500

As the golf cart sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  Your logo/QR code will also appear on each tournament golf cart.

Scorecard Sponsor (Limit 2) $1500

As the scorecard sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  Your logo will also appear on each participant’s scorecard.

Station Sponsor (Limit 10) $500

As a station sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  You are entitled to set up a table at your station and give away non-alcoholic beverages, snacks, swag, etc. Multiple stations are encouraged.

Reception Beer/Alcohol Sponsor (Limit 2) $150

As the beer/alcohol sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  As the sponsor, you must supply beer/alcohol for participants following the shoot.

Breakfast/Coffee Sponsor (Limit 2) $150

As the breakfast/coffee sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and all event social media communication.  As the sponsor, you must supply breakfast/coffee for the participants during registration.

Food Frenzy Competition (Limit 10)

As a food frenzy competitor, your company name will appear on event signage, the website, and social media communications for all events.  As part of the competition, you will be set up adjacent to the pavilion to provide lunch food item(s).  Each shooter will be given a poker chip to vote for the best competitor.  The winning team will receive a commemorative trophy (in kind).

Raffle Prize Sponsor

As a raffle prize sponsor, your company name will appear on event signage, website, and all event social media communication (in kind).

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Registration and payment must be completed in full to guarantee attendance. An individual with an incomplete or unpaid registration will be considered as a walk-in attendee and only admitted as space permits. No refunds will be processed if an attendee does not attend the event. No refunds will be issued if the request for cancellation is sent within 48 hours of the event. Any substitutions in lieu of cancellation will be honored only if within the same organization in the same calendar year…
