Attendees will have opportunities to strengthen leadership skills, expand their professional networks, explore emerging issues in the water sector, and take part in interactive team challenges.\nRegistration\nRegistration is now open. Register by September 11, 2026, to take advantage of early bird pricing.\nThe event website also includes information about the schedule, registration pricing, sponsorship opportunities, hotel and parking details, and an Austin Welcome Guide.\nWho Should Attend?\nThe Texas YP Summit is geared toward water industry professionals ages 35 and under, as well as students studying engineering, environmental science, business, communications, and other disciplines connected to the water sector.\nThrough educational sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship activities, and hands-on challenges, participants can gain a broader perspective on the industry’s current challenges and future opportunities while developing connections that support long-term career growth.\nEvent Schedule\nMonday, October 5 – Optional Half-Day\n\n1:00–3:00 p.m.: Austin Water Plant Tours — Choose between Ullrich Water Treatment Plant and South Austin Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant. Tours are limited to 25 participants each, with hotel shuttle service provided.\n4:30–7:00 p.m.: Happy Hour Social with Capital Cruises — Enjoy an evening cruise on Lady Bird Lake with drinks and appetizers. Suggested activities include attending Austin City Limits Music Festival from October 2–4, hiking Mount Bonnell, shopping on South Congress, touring the Texas State Capitol, and experiencing local restaurants and bars throughout central and north Austin.\nThe summit will also host a social media challenge on LinkedIn and Instagram.
