She brings more than two decades of experience across the energy, applied economics, and finance sectors, with extensive regional experience in the United States, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Mumbai, and New Delhi.\nHer work focuses on ESG strategies within energy transitions, including the integration of clean fuels into the global energy spectrum and the development of cross-sector mitigation strategies.\nGauri specializes in integrating new energy sources into national and corporate energy portfolios, financial and operational competitor benchmarking, energy pricing, market entry strategies, and energy policy development. She also represents S&P Global in several industry initiatives, including the US-India Hydrogen and Gas Task Forces organized by the US-India Strategic Partnership Forum.\nPrior to joining S&P Global, Gauri served as Commercial Advisor for Gas Policy and Regulatory Affairs at BP in India, where she led gas policy initiatives and supported BP’s energy reform advocacy efforts. She also previously worked as a Senior Consultant at PFC Energy (now part of S&P Global), where she led the firm’s Integrated Energy business across India and Singapore.\nShe began her career as a Research Associate at the National Council of Applied Economic Research in New Delhi, where she analyzed macroeconomic policy issues affecting the Indian economy.
