This session will highlight how these elements integrate into a cohesive measurement strategy.\nAbout the Presenter\nAlan Bryant\nEngineering Consultant – Automation, Occidental\nAlan Bryant grew up in Arkansas and attended college in Rolla, Missouri. Over his 32-year career in upstream oil and gas, he has held a variety of roles across multiple disciplines and locations.\nHe currently serves on Oxy’s Oil & Gas Automation Team, supporting projects, operations, HES initiatives, and corporate standards. His current focus includes carbon capture and sequestration projects.\nAlan is active within ISA, serving on the Executive Board of Directors, contributing to the Houston Section, and participating in multiple standards committees.\nAlan and his wife, Rhonda, live in Pearland, Texas. Outside of work, he helps maintain his community nature reserve, participates in patriotic community events, and enjoys brewing his own beer. His hobbies include hiking, kayaking, clay shooting, and the occasional round of golf. Alan and Rhonda especially enjoy long road trips — believing “it’s the journey, not the destination.” He has visited every U.S. state except Oregon.\n
