SUMMARY:Register now for the Houston Producers Forum Monthly Luncheon May 21, 2024 – Houston
DESCRIPTION:This Event Reminder is Sponsored by:\n\nTime & Location\nMay 21, 2024, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM\nThe Petroleum Club of Houston, 1201 Louisiana St Floor 35, Houston, TX 77002, USA\nAbout the Event\nbpx began operating as a standalone entity in 2015 and has since become both a premier oil and gas producer and a leader in reducing methane emissions.\nFrom their headquarters in Denver, today bpx manages one of America’s largest oil and gas producers and assets. bpx energy operates in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins in Texas and the Haynesville basin in Texas and Louisiana, focusing on safely producing high-margin barrels while driving down emissions.\nIn the Permian Basin of Texas, their two central processing facilities – Grand Slam and Bingo – help bp decarbonize our existing production, centralizing delivery of oil and gas to reduce emissions at the source. bpx is expected to grow to more than 650,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2030 – that’s around double their production in 2022, and around a 10% CAGR from 2022.\nIn 2023, they achieved their goal of electrifying 95% of our wells in the Permian to reduce operational emissions. Compared to gas-driven power generators, electrification is a cleaner, more reliable and cost effective way to distribute power across an oilfield.\nIn April 2021, we announced our aim to achieve zero routine flaring in our US onshore operations by 2025. They plan to accomplish this primarily through significant investments in new and upgraded infrastructure.\nIn 2023, they deployed continuous methane measurement across all their existing major upstream oil and gas assets, a critical milestone in their aim to drive a 50% reduction in methane intensity across our operations.\n
